"02/12/2024: had an appointment for 2:00pm with a nurse practitioner because when I called for an appointment for a lump that is increasing in size, the front guy said they have a 2:00pm appointment available. Checked in at the front desk by 1:55pm. Asked the front guy if after seeing the nurse practitioner if the doctor will see my son too. Front guys said he can have Dr. Tan go in after the nurse practitioner. I said that would be very nice. Waited for 45 mins and asked when will we be seen, the front guy said we’re next, but it wasn’t true and we waited again for another 13 mins just to be called and put in another “waiting room” because they didn’t have a room “yet” for us. Then when we got transferred to a regular room, we waited again for another 30 mins for the nurse practitioner to come in and no doctor! The nurse practitioner just asked a couple of questions and felt the lump and said that we will need to be referred to a dermatologist. He then took off. He spent literally less than 1 minute in the room with us and it took us an hour and a half to see him!!! Rediculois!!! Sad how my entire family comes here for years and has been with Dr. Tan’s care. Now we didn’t even see Dr. Tan and the nurse practitioner didn’t even apologize for the delay and did not seem to care. Very disappointed with this experience. And we have a PPO insurance and now we’ll just go somewhere else where they value their patients."

"I am not real impressed with these Doctors I have seen Dr kwan Tan. He took the place of my Dr for 15 plus years. (Dr. Jeff Haung). And then he retired and the Joshua Medical Group took over.I have a chronic back issue that’s not a joke. Dr. Haung had gotten me on some medication that worked pretty well for me. It took a while to find the right kind and amount to keep me somewhat out of pain all day and be able to live a normal life. The new Dr decided that I do not need all of it. And that I should have surgery. Dr. Haung had mentioned to me that the people that have this surgery eventually come back for higher doses of medication that won’t let them live a normal life. This doctor does not seem to care. T sent me to a surgeon and took some of my normal pain medication that I have been taking for 5-6 years away. I will probably be looking for a new one in the next few days. Someone else talked about them having a room full of people. Very true. I’m used to one good Dr. Not 3 or 4 that can only give referrals."

"Unprofessional. Don’t go for mental health because they have 0 resources. Apathy and stereotypes is what’s in these peoples minds when they see you have mental health issues. Do better."

"Old school prefer a 1 on 1 doctor visit, not a room with a bunch of people listening in on my health issues. Their followup is also a bit disappointing, lacking. Requested something from visit two weeks ago and nothing. Seems you got to keep checking this internet athenaportal to get info. No notification whatsoeva of lab results in or anything. So yeah just keep checking it everyday if you care about your health because it seems they don't followup on you. Will try other doctors here and see if it'll be better. Waiting area is huge and clean though with coffee."
