"Took my teenage kids for their first trip to teach them how to snowboard. Has a small hiccup in the beginning when my son’s boot straps were messed up and wouldn’t easily tighten. Easy swap to a new board and we were off. Bunny slope was a wee bit too flat to get started easily but that can be helpful for various reasons too. Bunny closed down a little too soon for their tastes but we moved to green! The carpet(?) tow system is a great transition for new riders and the hill was suitable in light of zero snow. Very icy and packed but that’s the nature of man made snow. Looking forward to coming back again as it’s super close and convenient. Also friendly helpful staff and typical food options that you would expect."
"Alpine Valley had all of their runs open which made it an amazing experience on the slopes! Loved the terrain parks features and no one was being extra crazy, lots of high schoolers there but that’s expected due to school breaks."
"Great place to snowboard and buy gear. Bought a pair of SOL Alpine Goggles for well below retail. Dave does a great job with the shop and you can find lots of great brands from 686, Burton, SOL Alpine, etc. in order to get anything you’d need to be ready for the slopes. Hills themselves are maintained, even in the warm months, and the snowmaking operation is one of the best in WI. And I can’t forget Alpine Pat, who provides a fantastic atmosphere for guests of all ages and skill levels. Great resort in every regard."
