"My partner recommended a getaway to Idyllwild as I love nature and had never been there. He sent me a list of potential places to stay on VRBO and the only option that looked good to me was The Mill House which is part of Strawberry Creek Village. The pics of The Mill House on VRBO showed a clean and attractive space with a hot tub (a plus!). We booked and were not disappointed. We loved staying at The Mill House. You can see that Cindi and Rick take care of their property and make sure their guests will be repeat clients. The Mill House was impeccable, had fantastic views, roomy and offered privacy. There is also an outdoor space at the back of the village where one can walk and enjoy the quiet. The location is perfect with restaurants in walking distance. I enjoyed staying here so much we booked a repeat visit for my birthday. I called Cindi directly and she held a reservation for me. I hadn't spoken to Cindi before and she was warm , personable and accommodating. I let her know I was coming back to celebrate my birthday and on the day before we were leaving she left a bottle of wine and a beautiful birthday card for me at the door. She had knocked but I was at the outdoor deck and did not hear her. I am sorry I was unable to thank her in person. Stay at the Strawberry Creek Village and you will leave recharged and happy! "Strawberry Creek Village was a dream! From the time we got there until the time we left. The views, the home, and the hospitality from the owners was as if they were family! Highly recommend for a vacation!"

"Man what a cool find. We found this place thru Airbnb and decided to give it a shot. The main reason was the price was just about the cheapest we could find and there wasn't even a cleaning fee. The setup is like a small village style and we stayed at the Day Dreamers Den. There are 4 places to stay all pretty close to each other. They have an area for bocce ball and a small horseshoe pit. There is one parking space designated for each of the small houses. We had one issue with the heater not working and after a message thru the Airbnb app the owner showed up lightning fast. They actually have a house down below the rentals that is very nice and pretty hidden in the trees. It's cool to know they are right there but you still have some privacy. Our place had a nice deck with a table and umbrella. The hot tub was also something that we made sure we had when we were looking online. Lucky for us we came on a Sunday and it was Easter also so we didn't have any neigbours. We will be back here for sure and probably try out one of the bigger houses with the kids. Town was also only about a 10 min walk down the road so that was a huge plus. If your thinking about a nice getaway with your other half this place is a winner."
