"First time going & we had a pretty good-sized group (about a dozen) for a birthday. It was kind of a longer wait than used to, but it was for a large party, on a Friday & at a well-known dinner place - but we were all checked on out at the bar often, drinks were ordered and served pretty quickly. Once we were seated, our server was super. Food was very good. Definitely would like to go again."

"My first supper club experience. The service was great and very attentive. The restaurant was also very full and busy which is a good sign. I had the Stuffed Tenderloin and really enjoyed it. I finished my meal with bread pudding which was the highlight of the evening."

"I don’t usually leave restaurant reviews but this was the worst steak I have ever ordered in my life, and I know that sounds like an exaggeration but while it looks tasty, the flavor was of pure char. The bottom of the steak was burnt black and there was no seasoning prepared with it besides maybe salt and pepper. It tasted like if you licked one of those grills at a local park with every bite you took. There wasn’t a good meat flavor, was truly the worst steak I have ever eaten. I was out with family and wasn’t going to make a big scene about the steak as it was still edible, but that didn’t stop another family member at my table already having a problem with their plate as well. They served the wrong potato order and over cooked both of our steaks. The soup is good, was really busy for a Thursday night. The bar only had old types of liquor. Service was good, they didn’t refill my soda once. Would not pay for a meal here, and I will never forget that burnt char taste of meat that they served for $40."

"First time at Mark's East Side was fantastic. We came early to avoid a long wait (we didn't have a reservation) and got seated shortly after getting a drink at the bar. The calamari app was great and fresh! We had the prime rib on a saturday night, which was reasonably priced for 12, 16, and 20oz. Twice baked were good, but on the smaller side- could be the season... but good overall. Glad we came early because when we were leaving, the bar was packed shoulder to shoulder!"

"Service and atmosphere were fantastic. The staff was all friendly and even got to meet the owner, who was also super friendly. The schnitzel was amazing. They definitely know what they're doing as far as German food goes. I also got the ribeye. It was a little undercooked than what I asked for, but the flavor was great. I was surprised by how fast our service was considering how busy they were. Will most certainly be returning again!"
