"Beautiful venue in what seems like the middle of a forest setting. I was here for a tech conference, but would love to see a show or concert here someday."

"Lovely place for a show. We saw Taj Mahal, who was incredible, and the venue was really nice. Surprisingly, the wine they had was good and so were the sandwiches. Bring a jacket and dress warm as it gets San Francisco cool after the sun goes down."

"We have been going to Cal Shakes productions since we were just college kids. It is a lot of fun! We always get there at 6pm, grab a picnic table, and eat a wonderful potluck. For a while we got super fancy and once even brought a fancy candlestick with multiple candles. As we got older and we got lazier, our tablecloths have gotten simpler but our food has gotten yummier. Our wine has gotten better too! Go, enjoy a picnic, bring layers because that place can get really cold even in the middle of summer!"

"Bring an early picnic and prepare to be amazed at outdoor theater. The backdrop is rolling golden hills, so watching at sunset is extra special. Wear layers and bring a blanket! (they rent blankets, too)"
