"While the store aesthetic was warm and inviting, the shopkeeper was not. Upon entering, she greeted my partner and I with a meek "hi". There was no conversations, no explanations, or asking if we had any questions. She simply chose not to engage; instead, occupying herself with her phone. Once ready to check out, she directed all her conversations to my partner, who was nowhere near the checkout counter. Although I was purchasing numerous items, I merely did not exist to her! Having worked retail, this indifference towards customers is telling of the individual and ultimately store's overall culture. If you like friendly shopkeepers- I recommend Turkey River Mall (antiques) around the corner. At Turkey River Mall, they seem to value all people that walk through their doors regardless of appearance or assumptions."
