"I would not recommend Salon 54. I’ve been there 3 times for my hair. First appointment, then a second to fix what hadn’t been done correctly the first apt and then a second apt 5 weeks later. If you’d like your hair to look halfway decent to the eye, then go here, but if you want a professional hair color throughout your whole head done correctly, go elsewhere. I’ve been blonde for years and never had my hair turn out this poorly. I booked a highlight and lowlight with a cut the first time. The cut never happened due to time. My hair wasn’t completely finished due to time. I’ve attached pics, have a look for yourself. I emailed the salon before posting a review in attempt to fix the issue, no response. Hundreds of dollars wasted, no one held responsible, only to spend hundreds more for someone else to fix their mistakes. This isn’t from grow out either, this is poor work. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere."

"They did an amazing job at making us feel so welcome and loved throughout the morning. The staff is incredible and knew exactly what they were doing. They are also across the street from Gather, so being able to walk across to the venue was ideal! They were super responsive and have an amazing atmosphere at their salon."

"I got my hair colored for the first time here and had an amazing experience. Andrea and Tee did a wonderful job coloring and styling my hair and I couldn't be happier. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend Salon Fifty Four for coloring (especially if you're a beginner like me)! I will absolutely be coming back for all my hair needs."

"My haircut was great, I was very happy with that. However, I originally booked a balayage and the stylist recommended I do a foilyage instead. I wanted to keep some of my roots and have it blend nicely with the blonde so that it would look fine grown out a bit and be lower maintenance. I ended up with a very harsh line between my dark roots and the blonde looked almost orange in the sunlight (pictures were taken right after original service). Adding a toner was also $40 more, which I was not told, so my total ended up being $80 more than what I thought it would be. Every other salon I’ve gone to has told me when something would be extra, so I feel like this is something that should have been discussed. I have gotten foils many times before and they have never been so brassy or looked so grown out. This is the most I have ever paid for them at any salon with all the extra charges, and it looked like it was not done well. Overall I feel like this was a big waste of money and I am not happy with how my hair looks. It did not look too bad in the salon lighting so I did not say anything right away, but after I went outside and saw how it looked in natural light I came back in to ask if it could be fixed. Another stylist helped me the next day and did what she did could with only a toner (I was told anything else would be extra), and did a great job, so no issues there and I am very grateful she helped, but there is also only so much you can do with toner and it washes out pretty quickly. I did not want to spend more to get it fixed when I already paid extra and wasn’t happy with it. I really am not one to complain and I hate leaving poor reviews, but I wanted to cry knowing I paid much more than I thought I would and was left with hair that looked like it had been done months ago."
