"This was my first visit since my previous hair stylist retired and closed her doors. The stylist at Inspired By You was condescending and aggressive. The first picture shows me AFTER she did my roots. Obviously, it didn’t match my hair. The second picture shows AFTER I came in a week later to fix it. Still roots showing but not as bad. She tried telling me that “not even God can get all the root.” I have been getting my hair colored for over 25 years. I know that is not true. I would not recommend Anita or this salon if this is the work they endorse. I tried showing her what my previous stylist wrote down but she just waved her hand refusing to look at it. She said she knew what she was doing."

"I called and made my appointment to get my hair colored and my extensions colored. I also requested for the extensions to be dried and put in. I arrived at 8:30am and my hair wasn't done until after 12:45pm. She had booked two other people while I was there. I dried my hair MYSELF as well as my extensions. I also put my own extensions in even though the stylist bragged about all the extensions she had done in the past. I absolutely would not recommend this very unprofessional salon to anyone and I was severely disappointed I went there."

"Inspired By You Salon is a salon that lives up to its name. Anita is one of the best if not the best stylists for anyone with curly, thick, course hair! When I wanted to change my hair color the consultation I received was professional, she showed me colors that would work best for me. That seems obvious but so many times styles will give you what you think you want - and not take the time to do a proper consultation. Curly, thick , course hair= Anita!"

"I walked out before the stylist washed my hair. She talked to me as if I never had a haircut before and clearly did not understand I wanted a trim. Everything she told me didn't make sense. Such as, changing my part would help and my head shape should be a question mark. I have never felt so uncomfortable getting a trim. My anxiety was so bad I took off the cape before she had it tied around my neck and left."
