Anaala Salon and Spa - Atwood

"I’ve been a long time (like years) fan of this salon. They do a great job in general and I think I’d recommend them. Most recent visit was a little dicey. I booked online for cut & partial foil with a senior stylist. Day of my appointment they reached out to tell me that stylist was out for the day but a junior stylist was available at the same time. I had an event coming up so I agreed to take the junior stylist. Got there and saw the senior stylist at the salon doing hair. This was super off-putting. I felt they were not honest with me. Junior person did ok. I paid (not cheap) and left. Very mixed feelings about the experience. Posting pics. Before and After look the same?"

"I've visited twice with two different stylists for a simple haircut. Both times the stylists left me with wet hair. I wouldn't recommend."

"Coming from someone who has a fear of haircuts because quite frankly I am "hair dumb" and have NO idea what to do with hair, Savana made me feel so comfortable and explained everything to me. She helped me out so much and my fear is gone! My hair went from feeling like a cheap doll's hair to shiny and gorgeous! I feel like a new person and it's EXACTLY what I needed!!! "If I were rating my stylist, Bonnie Johnson, she would get 5 stars. She cut my hair & my young daughter’s hair for many years, even before she moved to Anaala. Love, love, loved her! However, this is a review of Anaala Spa, Atwood. It gets 1 star only b/c Bonnie works there & they give you coffee. I chose to take my business elsewhere when after a decade plus, they required a credit card payment to even make an appointment. I never failed to pay for our haircuts upon departure, so their immutable policy greatly offended me … and seemed rather desperate on their part."

"i was super unsatisfied for a full color half foil $300. i came in with blue hair and asked to go brunette with streaks of blonde. long rant short i didn’t get what i asked for OR what me and the stylist agreed to during our same day consult what’s so ever. for one, there is still a lot of blue in my hair, and it doesn’t look flattering. another issue i have is the transition from my natural roots natural brown to a basically RED she put in my hair the still bleeds out in the shower and stains my clothes. it is patchy, the color palette is atrocious, and again it’s not at all what we discussed or what i asked for. I would take a re-do if i could. UPDATE.: Still have not received a refund… SUPERRRR disappointed…"
