"Best Dental care I’ve ever received! I have extreme dental anxiety from bad experiences as a child. Every visit I’m welcomed with many smiles and kindness. Staff members understand my mental health and have been so helpful with working through it with me. Instead of being degraded about my oral hygiene, my care team is so kind with offering solutions to my oral issues, how to overcome my anxiety, and even gave me great feedback and motivation on how to keep up the good work. I have had 2 emergency visits, and both times I felt welcomed and I felt that I received the care I needed. I didn’t feel rushed on to get to the next patient. I love how thorough each appointment is and how much everyone cares about you. The dental care feels personal, and I’m happy to finally find a dentist office that is full of love and passion for their profession and patients."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Scharine for almost thirty years. Before seeing him, I had some very painful dental experiences that left me with a lot of anxiety regarding dental care. I have needed several root canals over the years. Dr.Scharine always made sure I was comfortable and did not experience ANY pain! He is so kind and gentle. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. They did exactly what I asked them to do and didn’t give me any issues and they try their best to make u as comfortable as possible. "The entire staff is so kind, thoughtful and caring! Great chair side manner and Dr. Pflum explains every concern and all options of treatment to the patient. They check with insurance prior to treatment so there is no confusion or concern in regards to cost. Very informative! I want to add that my teeth are extremely sensitive and they made sure to apply an application to my teeth to help prevent any discomfort. What a great experience!"

"I do not like going to the dentist. I arrive anxious and leave sweaty and drained— even for a basic cleaning. It was almost eight years between visits for me until I started with Elite Smiles (Wisconsin Ave, Appleton). While I’m still anxious and drained respectively, I very much look forward interacting and learning from my hygienist, Joelle. She is an absolute stellar professional and extremely personable. This combination is rare in any industry, perhaps doubly so in the dental realm where the professional has to do most of the talking for obvious reasons. It is very much thanks to her and the rest of the friendly staff at Elite Smiles (Wisc. Ave, Appleton) that I went from avoiding the dentist for a decade to showing up early for my regular six-month cleaning and checkups. Highly recommended all around."
