Aventura Hotel

"The room was nice and large including the bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The pillows were weird to sleep on as they were squares but okay nonetheless. The hotel staff were pleasant and the lobby smelled nice. Ample free parking underground and the spaces were a good. Walking distance to some restaurants and a supermarket."

"Every year I stay here to be close to the venue celebrating New Year's. The location is very convenient. The prices are fabulous for the quality of the hotel. Entering into their available underground parking, it feels safe and clean. Parking is free. They'll provide a hangtag for your vehicle at check-in). Very welcoming lobby with helpful staff. A $50 deposit was requested at check-in, standard. My standard room had contemporary decor, was clean and I appreciate having a fridge. Aventura hits all my basic expectations for a hotel. I'll be back next year if I celebrate NYE downtown."

"Their carpet and furniture looked new and clean. It was quiet to sleep and had a view to the city (which is hard for a hotel in a big city). Their front desk helped reservations from another website well (some places say they can't help due to another website) even on the phone and sent towels/blankets to the room right away. They provide free parking and an assigned parking slip, showing that only customers staying in the hotel can park there, and they manage their parking lot (not all hotels do). Very happy to finally find a place to stay when visiting this area, despite two suggestions below. Hotels in Downtown LA charge too much for parking ($50-$70) with mostly only valet parking. Hotels near the ocean usually have only some views and low quality rooms. ------- suggestions 1. A microwave in the room will help a lot, for people to have a quick breakfast from taken out food, brush teeth, and leave. Their microwave was in the break room near their parking lot, somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise, need to go outside for breakfast, come back, and leave again. 2. A bigger refrigerator than their mini one will help people who are traveling for multiple days and need certain things."

"Overall nice hotel. My room is on the side of street traffic which I hear a lot along with typical city noise. I like the free parking but wish I had known that they don't provide washcloths. Bring your own if you're a washcloths user! Although they do not honor AAA or other discounts, prices are still pretty reasonable."

"This hotel was actually a gem and surprised us pleasantly. A few things we liked about it: Location - it is safe and close to some pretty good KBBQs including the popular Park, Cleanliness - the room was simple, bed was fine however the connecting room door could do with an extra bolt to ensure safety, Service was excellent and staff were very helpful, and most importantly free parking which is hard to come by in LA I think. Overall very good value. Would recommend!"
