"Let me preface this by saying definitely visit Morgan if you want a basic hair cut! She is a very positive person and I enjoyed my interactions with her! On that note, I think Morgan can do a great job for a normal hair but if you have wavy/curly hair and are looking to nurture that, I would probably advise you go somewhere else. I recently figured out that my hair does have a slight curl and checked with Morgan to see if she does wavy hair cuts and she said yes. She gave me a great hair wash that cleaned my hair of product buildup from products not suited to my hair and then I told her what kind of cut I wanted. However, she wasn't very communicative through the haircut of what she was doing, and confirming if length was okay. She just did her thing and asked if everything was okay at the end and at that point, the cut had been done and I can't really go back and change it. My layers feel very short and choppy but she kept assuring me it was fine. Also, she blowdried my chair and straightened it out to show my layers but I asked if she'd diffuse because I really wanted to tap into my hair's wavy potential. In terms of a regular haircut, I was satisfied but in terms of nurturing my wavy hair, I was not. I would not recommend this place for wavy/curly specialized cut."

"I found Rustic Roots by total accident and thought what the hell. My hair was untouched for probably close to 8 years, dry, yucky split ends, and box colored (which is apparently blasphemy to most) before I came here. I'm blown away she made this happen. If you're looking for a great talented stylist, she's your girl."

"I recently got my haircut by her, and was unhappy with the outcome. When I reached out to her about it and told her I was not comfortable letting her cut my hair anymore to fix it, she completely stopped responding to me. I said I would be willing to come in if another stylist was there. Very unprofessional to just stop responding. I have had 3 other stylists look at my hair and it’s so uneven. One side is longer then the other. There was lots of long chunks left underneath, lots of chunks of hair missing in the back, unblended layers on only one side, and they’re very short layers when I asked for long layers. If she didn’t know how to do the haircut I wish she would have just told me. Instead I either have to cut it very short to fix it or just live with this mess until I grows out enough to fix. I’ve literally been crying about this haircut for days. I’m more upset with how she handled it then anything. If I would have gotten it looked at by another stylist at the salon or a refund I would have just left it at that. Don’t let this happen to you, avoid avoid avoid!!!!!"
