Motel 6 Buellton, CA - Solvang Area

"Terrible service, rude staff. I booked a hotel through Expedia. I was with my child. Upon arrival, I found no one at the reception. I waited for about ten minutes, knocked on the door, loudly called out, walked around trying to find a call button, and finally, someone came out. After a long wait, his name Thomas couldn't handle the simple task of checking us in. He said there was a problem with the card and that I needed to call Expedia. I asked if he could call instead. Cuz I don’t have problems with Expedia and my card charged and the room was booked. He said no, you have to call! I called, and the girl from Expedia told him what to do, I passed the information to him. In the end, he just denied us the room! He said I don’t want to give you room, go and find another hotel! So my kid and I tired, and we have to looks for something else in the middle of the night! I've never seen such a rude and useless staff before! It would be ideal to fire him, as he's causing the hotel to lose guests and money. I strongly do not recommend this hotel if you don't want to deal with rude and useless Thomas and finding another hotel at night."

"This Motel is very clean. When we opened the door, you could smell freshness with a hint of bleach. The beds were made, the bed sheets, blankets were clean and fresh. The whole room and bathroom, including towels were clean. The rating of 3 was giving because at 3:15am me and my husband were woke up by several different hispanic ladies taking loud in the next room. So at 3:50am I had enough and called the front desk because listening to them they work here and stay on the premises and should know better. Once the front desk called. They quieted down. And the second reason for that rating was the TV channels kept glitching."

"Exterior in shambles. Pavement crumbling. Landscaping looks forgotten. Bed like sleeping on plywood. Dog poop container needed emptying. No poop bags. Room was clean. Not too noisy. Good for the price."

"We checked in here and Emily was really really great and very accommodating! Please do give her a raise as she is one of a kind. Thank you so much Emily for welcoming us and with information where we can go. It was a pleasure knowing you and it is a good decision that this is the motel we chose to go to. Thank you!"

"There was no shampoo in the room. Not sure if that’s ever included but I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t provide any, but then again I’ve never stayed at a motel 6 before. Also the bedding I’m sure wasn’t changed because on my last night staying there when i moved the covers to dust the bed. There was so many crumbs and lint and a dead dry pincher, it was old and there was a tiny stain, n not a washed out stain, one that was never washed at all. Also there was a roach in the bathroom. Other than that, everything else was good, good location. Quiet area. I don’t think that everyone’s experience will be like that just happened to be me. Oh and the rooms are super tiny. I got 2 full beds w a mini fridge barely had any waking space. But worked for what i needed which basically was just to sleep and shower."
