"Clean Basic Economic Motel, my only complaint is the Beds were super uncomfy...Very hard. Otherwise we had a good stay"
"my significant other and i rented a room here for 3 months while he worked locally. they had just remodeled and updated that part of the motel, and it was way nicer than the new motel 6 or the redone super 8s. the pool was way bigger and cleaner than the other Taft motel with a pool too. Overall i'd stay here again and i recommend this place over best western anytime somebody is staying in Taft. i have nothing against best western, but the Taft location isn't as nice a place to stay as Topper's."
"Best place to stay in the area!!! Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 3am. We called in advance to let them know and they assured us that regardless of the arrival time someone would be there to check us in. Check in went smooth and the owner was friendly. The rooms were very clean!! The tile floor was a huge relief to see there was no sticky carpet or smell and you could tell the linen was clean. We would leave for the afternoon and every day we would come back to a clean room the service was great. There’s a pool and a restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient. The food at the restaurant is really good. I’ve recommended Toppers to others visiting the area."
"This motel is clean and safe. The rooms are modern and simple. I've never had a problem with the staff or any of my fellow travelers here. If you're looking for an easy and very affordable place to stay this is a good choice. The exterior has the feeling of being from another time which is common in smaller towns which I personally find enjoyable. More importantly, the rooms are modern and clean. A good choice for a party of one or two per room. It also has an attached Restaurant for those of you who like Mexican food."
