"My family rented out the whole house for a sibling reunion and it was paradise. Once you enter the property gates you are in a wooded, park like setting, with beautiful settings for large and intimate gatherings. Our grandkids loved the open spaces for playing soccer, basketball, frisbee, baseball. The adults love the spacious deck, fire pit area, open living areas in the house, huge dining table and catering kitchen. The house retained the authenticity of its Arts and Crafts interiors, and the look of a Martha’s Vineyard vacation home and gardens. Santa Cruz County beaches were minutes away with Monterey and Carmel about an 1 hour plus away. The resort owners were a pleasure to work with. We stayed for 5 nights, I could have moved in for the summer!"

"I am still pinching myself that we were able to have our wedding at Sand Rock Farm. Sand Rock Farm is truly such a magical place! Jen and Derek are amazing and you can tell they truly love the property and being incredible hosts. Whether you are staying at a room in Sand Rock Farm or attending a wedding there, you will be treated to impeccable service and hospitality, all in an enchanting setting. I first found Sand Rock Farm when looking for redwood wedding venues in the Bay Area, but I immediately fell in love with the ceiling-less barrel room instead. The beautiful old stone walls are covered with ivy and string lights strung across complete the effect. The barrel room is hands down my favorite part of the venue, but literally everywhere you walk is picturesque. There’s charming furniture in the bed and breakfast, an arch covered with wisteria vines, a garden filled with beautiful old-fashioned garden roses, and so much more. We had our intimate (less than 30 people!) ceremony and reception in the barrel room and Derek catered the food… which was incredible! I’m a wedding photographer, so I have actually had quite a bit of wedding dinners, but I would have to say our wedding dinner was the best I have ever had!! The flavors were amazing, everything was cooked perfectly. All of our guests raved about the food, especially my grandmother who literally said she had never had a better meal in her life. I cannot recommend Sand Rock Farm enough and highly highly recommend having your intimate wedding there!! It was perfect and a huge part of the best weekend of our lives. Thank you Jen and Derek!! "Have stayed here two times a d in two different rooms. This house is beautiful and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. The last time I stayed in the garden suite which I recommend, it has its own private outdoor hot tub. The other rooms have their own private Jacuzzi baths also. Like I said the house is beautiful, and it will bring you back to the Victorian era, but the grounds are even more beautiful. The food is delicious, truly a great cook, and if you have special eating needs they will accomodate for you"

"My husband and I recently got married at the Sand Rock Farm, and our entire wedding party stayed there the weekend of our wedding. Kris did an outstanding job helping us to plan our wedding. She was very prompt and organized and had a lot of connections to local vendors. She was very experienced in the ins and outs of planning a wedding and was a helpful resource throughout the process. Our actual wedding was so magical...the venue is truly one of a kind. And the inn was a wonderful place to stay, both for us and for our wedding party. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, delicious food, plus so much fun to be staying at our wedding location with our closest friends and family! We would highly recommend Sand Rock Farm, both as a beautiful and relaxing place to stay and as an amazing place to get married."
