"This is a great hotel. The people are very nice that work here. I’ve been here for four days. They have a great hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean. It is not a new hotel. However, it has been updated. It is an older area of Danville. I remember this hotel being here from years ago when I was a kid. Quite sometime ago. It’s not a five star hotel that you’d find for 100’s and 100’s of dollars a night but I’m giving it five stars based on everything I just stated above. This is Danville. One of the wealthiest areas in California so of course it’s not going to be cheap. But it’s well worth the money spent. Hope you agree."
"As a long time patron of this hotel, I took notice to the dated bathrooms and shower areas during my last stay. At close to $200 a night, it’s a place that’s beginning to resemble a roadside motel in Route 66. Not good in a neighborhood one expects in Danville."
"You get what you pay for. 5 day stay. Not once got a nock for cleaning or service. Smells like cigarettes al over. La Quinta is way better for price"
"Super convenient motel for a one-night stay during a baseball tournament in the East Bay. Right off the interstate, yet isolated from the highway noise. Friendly service at the front desk and able to accommodate a very late (after 11pm) check-in. Kind of a one-stop shop with a Black Bear Diner and gas station right next door. One of the best Best Westerns I've stayed in from those perspectives. Unfortunately, some significant items in the room were overlooked. The A/C unit did not work. There was no soap at the sink. Two of the outlets in the room were not functioning. None of this was awful for a late check-in, early check-out stay, but all are things that should have been caught by standard room maintenance."
"Aside from the room smelling slightly musky upon entering, overall a great place to stay! Room was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, continental breakfast had many great options and black bear diner is literally right next door! The room was quiet for the location, however if you are a light sleeper there is road noise, maybe not in all rooms but in the room we stayed. Staff was excellent and very accommodating! Would definitely stay again, if in the area."
