Reviews
"Sure it’s a new hotel so nice enough rooms and beds but they literally put it on one of the worst blocks in the city (and I lived in SF for 6 years). Expect crime and drugs in front of the building at all hours. The Line in LA has a great vibe but here unfortunately due to no one wanting to anywhere near this block, the hotel feels empty and sad. All hotel bars and restaurants are closed Sunday and Mondays and the ground floor restaurant already closed so they will charge you the $35 daily fee but really all you are getting is a room and an address for Uber to pick you up to take you to a nice part of town."
"The service at this hotel was magnificent. I had fresh towels daily and my bed made. No need to purchase shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash or q-tips. Room service is available. The rooft top bar is wonderful and so is the restaurant. The only disturbing thing was a particular photo in my room I hope they remove. It's not culturally acceptable or okay."
"I had a great experience at this hotel. 10/10 service all around. The staff was very helpful and attentive forwards me. The security team made me feel safe throughout my stay especially Chris. He was very open to questions and gave me clear answers and reassured me. I would recommend this place to others for sure."
"My husband and I were excited about staying at this hotel for 2 nights in SF. The hotel itself is stylish and everything is brand new. The room is very comfortable. However, there are some important points to consider before booking: They offer parking for $68 per night, plus a 14% tax. The car is parked across the street in a public parking area where, if you park directly, it costs $40 for overnight parking. This results in an additional $40 charge for the same location. Free bottles of water in the room are not actually free. On the check-out date, you'll be charged a $35 amenity fee for each day of stay, covering the "free water" and gym. This fee wasn't communicated in advance. On the check-out day, we were charged for parking for 2 days, although we only stayed 1 day. While the location is central, be aware of the presence of homeless people near the hotel. The situation is concerning, especially during the evening/night when it might not be safe to walk. The streets are dirty, and there is a persistent unpleasant smell. Overall, our stay was good, but the unexpected charges left us feeling somewhat deceived. We're unsure if we'll choose this place again in the future."
"Amazing hotel, very boutique. The design is fresh and modern, the rooms are clean and well laid out. They have a great rooftop bar as well as a restaurant in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would stay again on our next visit without hesitation. Close to Union Sq, cable cars, the mall, TJ’s and lots of other great shops. The hotel is on the edge of the Tenderloin so there is homeless people and addicts just across the street. But then again they are in every big city and town. Did not impact or diminish our stay in any way. We felt very safe."
