"As an Explorist member, my first stay at a Hyatt House property in Belmont/Redwood Shores left me with mixed feelings. The spacious room was a definite highlight, offering comfort during my 5-day business visit. However, the absence of housekeeping services throughout my stay, as per the front desk, was unexpected and somewhat inconvenient. The persistent noise in my room during the night, despite it being considered their best room, added a downside to the overall experience. While the room's quality was commendable, the lapses in service detracted from the otherwise positive aspects of my stay."
"Room and facility was dirty. So much hair in the drain of one shower it wouldn’t drain. Trash on the ground, dumpsters overflowing. Bed was sloppily made. Floor didn’t feel clean. Almost every piece of furniture was dented, scratched or torn."
"WiFi and cell reception was miserable. The suites are kind of dingy and worn down. I could have sworn the floor was a bit slanted all throughout the suite. Had to walk up 3 floors with the suitcase. Shower head had very low water pressure. That said, the staff is very nice. The free breakfast had ham, eggs, potatoes, etc and had make your own fresh waffles (both full size and mini) and 24h tea and coffee is very nice. And it’s easy to get on the highway plus is not that expensive."
"Rooms were worn and had an unpleasant odor. Lighting was dreary. Mattress was long overdue for a replacement. The staff was more than efficient and welcoming. We were only staying one night but would never stay there again."
"My only complaint is that I had no cell reception in my room, and the hotel wifi was twitchy at best and kept dropping. (I try to avoid it most of the time). I am used to that in rural areas, but not in the bay area. One night would have been tolerable, but I was there for 8. Very nice staff and breakfast!"
