"An older property but really beautifully refurbished. I got a room upgrade! Both late-night and morning front desk personnel were friendly and welcoming. I wish I had more time to spend enjoying the pool and special events! I also liked the close proximity to good shopping. I will recommend to friends and colleagues."
"This is a great place. The pool area and outside bathroom are VERY clean. We visited on a Resort Pass and did not have access to the rooms however if they are anything close to the exterior...they'll be good. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Ivan, the manager, was great. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. It is a 30 minute (max) drive from San Francisco. A terrific place in which to escape the summer fog."
"First, reserved a room for poolside, did t know the whole side of hotel is considered either poolside or garden side , garden side was way prettier. The pool was not warm to enjoy but jacuzzi Second, rooms were VERY large we loved how spacious! Third, said rooms are old, needs new carpet, everything felt sticky, toilet was not secured to floor, dishes not clean in the cabinets Overall, okay location, very nice size of suites nice outdoor area"
"Rooms were nice, decent sized 1 and 2 bedrooms with a good living room. Dining room was a bit small for the 2 bed, but not for the 1 bed. The service was good as well when we needed a bit more time to access the room to double check for items, they gave us a new key card. Good amenities like pool/Jacuzzi (non-chlorine) and access to small gym and small yard with games to play, all of which is well maintained. Close access to grocery store and other interests, including the Marin Bay and other points of interest."
"Marin Suites is much improved since 2019. I've stayed here before because the two bedroom suite with a kitchen works so well for my family. It was a tired hotel with a great floorplan. But it's not tired any more. It's well maintained now with a beautiful courtyard. Everything in our suite was in perfect condition. If you haven't stayed at Marin Suites lately, take another look. We had a great experience there while in Marin!"
