"Golden Rule RV park is a quiet setting with nature all around. Wake up to the sounds of wild turkeys. Walk to see Ridgewood Ranch and see deer and hares along the way. I have stayed here for a while and have thoroughly enjoyed the setting for me and my family."

"Older park with few amenities, but it was quiet, safe and pretty. There were a flock of wild turkeys in and out of the park, which was fun. The swimming pool was closed during our off-season stay and there were very few other campers. It is an older park, so big electricity users may be frustrated, but our 30 amp 5th wheel had no problems. Access is easy (turn lane) and re-entering highway was easy with center lane to turn into. The park is nearly 1 mile from highway down a rather steep and winding paved road. No problems, but be aware. We enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed here for one night on our way home from Arizona and Mexico. We love this place. It is quiet, beautiful, clean, out of range of Internet and phone service, large spaces, low cost, and did I say beautiful! If you need Internet, it is available. There is also a very nice pool. In the past, we always stayed at the KOA when we come through (at least once per year) but it is loud and twice the price. We have found a new stopover! We are even thinking about making it a destination spot to stay while we go inspect some vineyards and sample some wine. We highly recommend the Golden Rule RV Park."

"Lovely! Yes, it's a wide, winding road (approx. 1.5 miles or less) down to their RV park, but QUIET down there ... so worth it :-) Super terrific staff (Patty and Lynn) and we had an enjoyable 2 nights. Older equipment (electric boxes are 10-12" off the ground), but everything WORKS! Bathrooms older, but CLEAN! Great place, GREAT price at $33/night for Seniors/Good Sam. 30 amp only and cash only."

"Lovely, quiet and peaceful place to spend the night. We were traveling south on the 101 and needed a quiet place to rest and shower. The park is delightful. The RV area is small, well-kept and very peaceful for being off of the 101. Do not be deterred by the presence of a mobile park; it too is very well maintained and separate from the RV area. We saw wild turkeys, deer and a starry, starry sky. The restrooms were clean and the showers were very good. It is affordable, beautiful and peaceful."
