"We had a wonderful week and enjoyed the peaceful beautiful grounds, meeting other guests who were staying at the resort!! It was clean restful, staff polite and friendly!"

"This resort has, as advertised, individual cabins. Think of it as a one bedroom single wide manufactured home. This is very nice because you do not share any walls with other rooms, you have lots of quiet privacy. The setting is beautiful, quiet, and clean. Parking is right next your cabin. The grounds and the the cabins are both well maintained. The queen size mattress was very soft and had a deep valley in the middle. Soft would be tolerable, however the valley in the middle was not acceptable to our sleeping habits. Similarly, the couch in the living space is quite broken down. I didn't expect luxury, because as advertised, it is a pull out bed. But when you sit on it the cushions are so worn out the you sink. We used the extra pillows in the room to make the couch somewhat more comfortable."

"Pool and hot tub broken. No gas BBQ, only charcoal. Cool weather in late August. Not much locally except historic lighthouse. Nearby beach. Too cold to swim."

"Very cute spot in a quiet area. We stayed here as a landing base and traveled to Fort Bragg, Mendocino and Napa. Clean, similar to glamping. Staff was really nice. No cell service and it’s definitely quiet and tucked away but a gorgeous locale."

"The ride here was white knuckle thrilling. The fog added more fear, as if the sharp turns and switchbacks weren't terrifying enough! We were greeted kindly, and check-in was a breeze. Our unit is cozy, freestanding cabin. Fireplace and stove are gas. Stainless tub mini dishwasher, convection microwave, tons of built-in storage, starter supplies, and coffee. Washing machine and dryer are on site, at the check-in building. ($1.50wash/$1.00dry) We're here for the hiking and beach walking. It's coastal foggy after 4pm, so we're back in the comfort of our unit by sunset. Location is great. All the beaches offer something different, so don't be afraid to pull over!! Bowling Ball and Pelican are our favorites so far."
