Westport Beach RV Park and Campground

"We love this campground when we came with our own RV but the cabin was a different experience! A cute little log cabin. But it is more spartan than we imagined. We understood that there was no running water or plumbing in the cabin, no chairs or tables –nor was there any room for them. We were there for 4 nights and it rained everyday and no place to cook. It has a good little space heater, a microwave and a little “dorm” fridge that had black mold all over the inside. There was dirt, dust, spiders and large cobwebs. The staff did come to clean the fridge and brought a night stand also. We got numerous insect bites and after we left my wife needed to get with our doctor who said it looked like bedbugs. The staff said it has been “sanitized” after the last campers 3 months earlier. (Bedbugs can live 6 to 9 months without eating) now we need to sanitize all our belongings and sleeping bags to get the bedbugs — Not quite what we expected, especially for $135 per night."

"First time visiting last week. Was a bit nervous with reading some of the negative reviews. We loved it!! The staff was very nice and helpful!! Great store, stocked with many items that most likely were forgottenat home. To me, the rv spots are kinda standard rv park spacing, so it wasn't a problem for us....you just have to deal with it. So close to the ocean... private beach! We thought it was amazing. We got to pick blackberries and saw a fox napping on a picnic table, a seal on the beach, and a bear in the night. Did not use the showers but had to check them out. They were very clean and nice. They are doing their best with the bear problem, but when people do not listen to the last trash, pick up. They do have a bear proof trash can. But many people didn't notice, I guess. The last night we were there, someone was blowing hug bubbles from the top of the cliff....all the kids loved it! The sunsets are unreal!!"

"The most amazing experience! Kid friendly, the staff is amazing (shout out to Keith, Julie and bubba ❤️) Affordable and made the best memories. They have fun activities and the views are beautiful from sun up to sun down!!!"

"Wow! This beach is the best! We tent camped for the first time in over 10 years in August of this year and it was amazing! My wife and I have always wanted to camp on the beach and we literally did!"
