"Had such an amazing week here. So friendly and great location. Bridge is 14'10" off the 101 and kenmar if coming from the south."

"Riverwalk was exceptionally clean and the people were very friendly. Check in was easy. Bathrooms and showers were spotless and looked newly renovated. Proximity to the river was nice but town is a good hike away. Not much to do in Fortuna but the Eel River Brewing Company (a 2 minute walk!) has great food, exceptional beer and delicious cocktails. Not really a vacation destination but a good, clean, and safe place to stop on 101. Freeway noise really quiets down at night and most of the spots along the freeway look like they are for the park's permanent residents."

"I recently stayed at this location with my travel trailer and had an exceptional experience. The ambient road noise was minimal, making our stay serene and peaceful. The provided WiFi was efficient for our needs - though we weren't streaming. For moments when we wanted some entertainment, the complimentary cable TV was more than adequate. The check-in process was smooth, with a detailed map guiding us directly to our site, alongside helpful information like the WiFi password, operation hours, and the restroom code. I was particularly impressed with the spacious pull-throughs, which made settling in a breeze. A standout feature was the immaculate cleanliness of the restrooms - possibly the best I've seen in any campground. All in all, I had a flawless stay and look forward to returning soon!"

"We stayed here for a week in August 2023. This is a good park, with some room for improvement. The utilities are old, but functional, though our water spigot couldn't be turned to 100% without leaking. The laundry facilities are nice, but very expensive at $4.25 to wash and 25 cents per 6 minutes to dry. There is a nice pool and playground, though the pool wasn't heated (or if it was, it wasn't heated enough). There wasn't an enclosed dog park, but there is room for them to add one. Trees were definitely in need of trimming as they were touching our rig in several areas and the turns were very tight, but we eventually made it into our spot. Our 48' fifth wheel plus deck took up the entire space, but they did have separate nearby parking for our truck, which was helpful. There were several full-time residents in the park, and there was a time when the police were roaming around the campground and walking through our site, so not sure what that was about. Fortuna is a great base camp location to drive to explore the nearby redwoods and Avenue of the Giants."
