"Quality is a very big concern in this store! We bought the leather couch a few months ago which is broken already. The wooden chairs are also loosing the legs. A lot of sawdust appears on the floor from the wooden table and chairs. I noticed it on the first day itself but they didn’t allow us to change."

"** Well, I guess Bob's response of my review says everything about him doesn't it (see my original review below)? I didn't ask for someone to come to our house for free to help us, I asked if he knew anyone we might hire to help us, perhaps even someone that works for his store. I guess the time has passed where people living in a small community actually care about others enough to want to help out if they can. You can decide whether or not you think Bob's response was inappropriate or not, I'm glad Bob has hundreds of happy customers, I am guessing that he is not interested in obtaining any new ones. My original review: Wow, definitely won't be doing business with The Furniture Store of Big Bear. I called and spoke to Bob inquiring if he knew anyone in the area that could help my husband and myself get some furniture assembled at our home - Bob's response, and his tone of voice, was rude and not helpful - he said that if we ordered furniture online we are on our own and abruptly hung up - that was enough for me to know that we won't be doing any business with Bob and The Furniture Store of Big Bear."

"AVOID this business, several reasons and I can back up every claim I make. You are fine, until you disagree or upset the owner, Robert "Bob" Wallace aka "Cowboy Bob", then it gets extremely ugly. I purchased 3 bedroom sets of furniture and 4 mattresses (2 defective), one twin had holes all along the side (I have lots of photos). I only wanted to return/replace the defective items, he bullied relentlessly for one month until I decided it wasn't worth it. Bob makes people believe he's part owner of Four Corner Furniture of Bozeman, MT, he is not. Four Corner was started by a couple and their son now owns and runs, Levi Davis. Bob also does not own the building In which his business resides. One item I purchased was a bunk bed that was suppose to fit a trundle, it did not. He offered to have it remade, he backed out of this when I emailed him that first night letting him know about the other issues I found, he got mad. Then come to find out he sold me mattresses that were remanufactured (aka USED)!! Now I've lost valuable time and money searching for new furniture. If you'd like to know more, ask. Shop at Wild Bear furniture across the street. Bob was friends with the owner, in fact Bob sold the owners that store stating he wouldn't open another furniture store. Then Bob opened one right across the street, this is how Bob treats his friends. Think before you become a victim, I mean "customer"."
