There are many touristy cheese shops in Sonoma, but the beauty of buying cheese at Vella, is that you’ll be getting the most delicious varieties right from where their products are made and at ridiculously low prices. "On a bike tour and we stopped at this cheese place. Wow! These guys know how to make cheese! My favorite was the toma cheese. Omg y’all! Stop here for a home town feel their milk comes from a local dairy. cheeses are made and aged onsite. Their specialty is their Dry Monterey Jack. They have a small retail store where you are welcome to a cheese tasting at no charge."
