"If I could give service 10 stars, I would. I was and am so thoroughly impressed by the level of service and customer service we received during our stay the last few days. CRAIG, is an absolute gem and was single handedly my favorite part about the trip. From the moment he met us at valet when we arrived, to setting us up with a fire out, s’mores kit, and a golf cart ride back to our room on our last night. He was so attentive and truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The level of service he provided was UNMATCHED. Daniel, David, Emerson, and Ryan were also so incredible. We needed to use the golf carts often during our stay and they all arrived promptly with a smile and great conversation. Pat, the shuttle driver was an absolute DOLL. The hotel was beautiful, the restaurant was delicious, spa was so relaxing and wonderful, but the guest services staff was what made this experience so incredible."

"A very enjoyable visit. The rooms at the Fairmont Sonoma were 10/10. Every attention to detail surpassed our expectations. Beautiful robes, amenities, a wood-burning fireplace kit, and a welcoming bottle of wine closed the deal. A soft-closing toilet seat was the only area of opportunity. The Spa was a nice break, but not all amenities were working. The spa was very short-staffed as well. Still, the Fairmont Sonoma is one of the only natural hot spring hotels in the country. Afternoon wine-tasting and bicycle rentals were a nice touch."

"What a beautiful property to stay at. Great staff and service. It was drizzling after checking in & they sent an umbrella to my room. Turn down service with slippers. Great bar tenders - service & food. Everything was perfect from checking in at the front desk. Too valet service and housekeeping. Yes it’s outside of town but they offer a free shuttle service."

"We were unsure of whether to stay at the Mission or to go downtown to the square and I have to say that we made the right choice by staying here. Rooms are beautiful and we were upgraded upon arrival to a suite. The grounds are serene and quiet, the pool is great and the spa is top notch. We took the free bikes for a day and toured around doing some wine tasting, which was perfect especially since the bikes are as nice as what we had planned to rent in town for $100. Overall had a great time and really appreciated how kind and helpful the staff is."

"Came for a long weekend of wine tasting. The first night our AC didn’t work and it was 80 degrees in our room. That was fixed by the second night. We have stayed in many historic hotels and this one is definitely dated. The service was amazing, the concierge, Angelica, and the grounds keeper, Anne, had many great suggestions for us. The hotel and restaurant staff were also super attentive and helpful. We experienced top notch service all around."
