I/O Arcade Bar is located at 924 Williamson Street in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. This bar is the ultimate destination for drinkers with a gaming problem. With over 70 games to choose from, you can enjoy custom cocktails, craft beers, and set new high scores on your own or challenge your friends. If the screens get too bright, you can relax at the bar or grab a board game and claim a table. I/O is a 21 establishment, but offers all ages times every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-2pm. The games at I/O run on quarters, and there is a dedicated room for board games with a chill vibe and brighter lighting. Food options include Salvatore’s pizzas, available in vegetarian or vegan options, along with other snack options. Outside food is only allowed for celebratory desserts. I/O is always accepting job applications, and interested individuals can send a resume to jobs@ioarcade.bar. If you have game or beer requests, comments, questions, or complaints, you can fill out a form that will go directly to the management. "First time at their new location and had a great time! Was a bit disappointed they no longer have Alt beer which is gluten free beer. They only have seltzers and ciders, which is not the same. I'd give them the full five stars if they still had a GF BEER option. Probably won't go back because they don't have that anymore."

"We had a lot of fun here! Arcade bars are an absolute must-visit on any of our trips and this one did not disappoint. It's in an easy to get to area of Madison and there was plenty of parking around. That happy hour is worth a stop for locals or out of town guests. Any place that has skee ball is going to be 5 stars for us and posting sing along lyrics to make sure hand washing lasts long enough is genius. Thank you for the cool vibe and fun stop. We will be back next time we are in town!"

"Overall good place to meet friends, have some drinks, and play some games. Good variety of old and new games. Fun atmosphere; I would categorize it mor targeted to the adult crowns vs some retro arcades which are geared towards kids and adults. I would say the cost per game is high (4 x quarters to play 1 game of pinball) so it’s not necessarily a place you would spend a lot of time in given other retro arcades are either free games with drink purchases or a set cost to play all games unlimited."

"The arcade has a ton of games and a solid beer selection. The games use quarters which is better than tokens. The place was easy to navigate as it was a Saturday afternoon. I imagine it would be much busier at night. Played the Simpsons arcade game and some ski ball and some pinball. It has punchout, NBA jam, a s some other retro games. It is nice that it is adults only."
