The doctors and nurses at the hospital were attentive, supportive, and skilled in ensuring a safe and comfortable delivery. The exceptional care I received during this special moment in my life speaks volumes about the dedication and expertise of the healthcare team at Memorial Hospital Los Banos. I'd especially like to mention by name Dr. Prophete, Dr. Wright, Dr. Paulsen, RN Rachel, RN Elisha, and RN Lisa who cared for me and my newborn. Thank you to all of the employees in labor and delivery. I've now had two great birth experiences at your hospital."

"On 12/26/23, I arrived at hospital around 2pm and discharged around 9pm. I never made it past the lobby as there were no rooms. I had an over the phone consultation with a nurse and was advised to go to the hospital. I went to the closest emergency room complaining of pelvic and back pain. The most uncomfortable experience of my life in a hospital’s waiting room. I have been to Natividad and Salinas Valley Health in Salinas, CA many times and never felt so lost and confused. I got blood and urine labs with just a regular ultrasound (No pelvic exam nor vaginal ultrasound). While my results were being read/explained there was an interruption and was asked to wait in the waiting room. (I was not the only one with similar situation when the diagnosis was being explained) After some more wait, I was giving antibiotics and asked to wait. My back was hurting of sitting and standing. Then I inquired information and was advised I would be discharged given antibiotics and follow-up with my obstetrician in two days. The front staff was supportive and reassuring but are not qualified to interpret lab results. There has to be a critical change as Los Banos is growing fast and there is only one hospital with 10 rooms? I left the hospital without all my questions being thoroughly answered by qualified staff and wondering if all correct tests and procedures were done. I really hope the community is addressing these issues and Sutter invests in LB for a change and hospital expansion."

"ED personnel are extremely bias. Every time my son steps into this facility there is ALWAYS a problem with staff members writing derogatory remarks against him. His last visit here he was experiencing tightness of his throat and pain swallowing. He sat there in the lobby quietly talking to me by phone. He was then called back to draw blood. Unfortunately this hospital has a problem finding skilled nurses who can successfully insert a cannula. My son was sent to the lobby with a blanket to wrap around his arm. Then he’s called back to speak with Lori the PA. She’s trying to connect the complaint with his previous visits. He’s telling her he doesn’t know. She continues to interrogate him. Finally he speaks up telling Lori she’s asking way too many questions and his throat hurts to be answering her questions. She immediately notes on his file that my son is angry. He’s telling her softly he hurts and doesn’t know who what when why etc. My son now is forced to wait outside as the lobby is packed like sardines. As he’s sitting outside, security and a tall Caucasian female enter the patio. They each glance at my son whose minding his business. Some time later I asked my son to go in and ask how much more time. The young snobby gal in a blue polo shirt playing with her cellphone says she doesn’t know- there’s only ten beds. My son returns to the patio. I’m still on the phone with him. About ten minutes later he says I’m going to leave and go to another ER. I said d ok. My son goes inside the to inform staff he was leaving. The nurse name Parooja couldn’t hear him. My son spoke loud and said they were taking too long that he is leaving. That day hospital executive we’re in the lobby. My son left. The nurse Parooja chased my son outside saying she needs to remove the cannula. My son said he didn’t have one. That was the whole reason for giving him the blanket, right? My son gets home opens up his Sutter Health account and finds another derogatory remark from Parooja stating my son was loud uncooperative and didn’t follow instructions. Excuse me. My son was never instructed to do anything. The fact that my son has these problems each time he visits this ER leads me to believe that your hospital staff are very prejudice. The fact that my son has a facial deformity doesn’t justify the discrimination he continues to experience at LBMH."

"Doesn’t even deserve that 1star^ I recently went to this hospital because I was really really ill and NEVER AGAIN will I go there! They had me waiting in the waiting room for HOURS and there was literally only 4 people there at the time that I went in. I genuinely feel like their doctors don’t care about their patients. After they had me waiting for hours the doctor finally came out and said that I could have a virus and proceeded to just want to prescribe me nausea pills even tho I repeatedly told the doctor that nausea was not the problem. The doctor that attended me didn’t even care to check what type of virus I had he just proceeded to discharge me. So I decided to go to a different hospital and they attended me super quick and within minutes they found what type of virus I had and prescribed me the RIGHT MEDICATION to treat the virus. I told the new hospital I went to about my visit with memorial hospital and even they said that they were REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL with their diagnosis. So if you’re reading this save yourself ALOT OF TIME and patience, go to a different hospital that’s NOT Los banos memorial hospital!!!"

"Everyone here was so very helpful and kind. I went into the emergency department cause I injured my hand. I was very impressed, for being an emergency department I never saw anyone here wait too long in waiting room. All patients were being attended to with help and there was never a chance for a long line to accumulate. The most important thing for me is that everyone was treated as equals and all staff made it feel like I was family and I could really appreciate that. I would like to name just a few of the staff members that I was encountered with but believe me when I say this that all the staff nurses and doctors were amazing.
