"I'm staying close by during an LA visit and this halal Mediterranean spot seemed like a good spot for dinner. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with fries. The. Hi ken was well seasoned and soft, very tasty. The inside was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. They also have platters and salads. The food was good overall, portion size was very good."

"NAAB MEDITERRANEN, part of a small chain, provides an authentic Mediterranean menu. Mateo, the cook, and Alan, the host, are knowledgeable and friendly. The environment is small and clean. A wall mounted menu is clearly annotated with dietary information. I ordered the vegan lentil soup and vegetable kebab. The lentil soup is full-bodied and satisfying, but a bit on the salty side. Take this observation with a grain of salt as I'm on a low sodium diet. The vegan, fire roasted vegetable kebab is prepared with saffron, fresh bright herbs, and vegetables. The kabob, constructed on an oversized skewer, (reminiscent of the swords of Turkish soldiers) is stuffed with a generous supply of tomatoes, peppers, onions, and zucchini, and served on a bed of yellow saffron brown rice. Sides include silky smooth hummus, crisp tossed salad, tahini, and warmed, pie-cut pita. After spending some time on the flame broiler, the still crisp and browned veggies are slid from their stainless steel rod, then piled high on a bed of saffron rice. It's enough for two. This marvelously flavorful meal is quite filling. My partner ordered the marinated chicken kebab. The same large kebab with large chunks of marinated chicken, complementing chunks of tomato, onion, and pepper. This fire roasted kebab is deposited on saffron flavored brown rice. Served with tahiti, crisp salad, hummus, and pita. Again, the serving was large enough for two meals. White saffron rice maybe exchanged with brown saffron rice. Parking is free. Everything is ADA compatible."

"Very good food being a fast food casual dining. The price can't be beat, the menu is varied and authentic. The lamb shank was good savory, tender and the fragrance was very nice. The combination plate came with the salad, hummus and rice. Also includes the pita basket. The portions are generous. The beef and lamb koobideh were very good. Would have liked them to give more onions to accompany the rice. Very filling. The decor is typical casual for lunch for office workers."
