Gus's Drive-In is a classic '50s style rock & roll restaurant located at 3131 Main Street in East Troy, Wisconsin. Known for their delicious burgers, custard, Chicago dogs, gyros, and more, Gus's is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Every Saturday night during the summer is Cruise Night, where classic hot rods from all over the Midwest come to show off.
Gus's prides themselves on using only the freshest ingredients, with Angus burgers that are never frozen, bread and buns from a local bakery, Vienna beef hot dogs, and slow-roasted Italian Beef sandwiches. Their homemade custard is made fresh daily with milk and custard from a local dairy, flavored with 100% pure vanilla and real fruit. They also offer 35 premium flavors of shakes and malts, hand-scooped and blended to perfection.
Located in the beautiful Kettle Moraine region, Gus's Drive-In is just a short drive from Milwaukee and Lake Geneva. They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 9pm, and offer pick-up or dine-in options for all your favorite menu items. The folks behind the counter were so friendly & made us feel welcomed. Extremely clean environment with perfect decor & great quality food for a drive-in. "I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Gus’s before because I've been coming here for years. They have such good service here and they’re always really fast despite being busy literally all the time. The food is always fresh and delicious and their portions are really generous. Today I had probably the best fish fry of my life so I had to leave a review! We usually order a gyro and I split it with my son because they’re gigantic. My husband loves their burgers, and the chive fries are a favorite. I love the online ordering system because it’s super easy and quick!"
"It is worth driving out of our way for! Unique restaurant and fun vibes. Owner and staff are such great people and the food was just as good. Owner is greek so I had to get the gyro and it went great with a mint shake."
"Gus opened when I lived here as a teenager back in the mid 2000s and I used to frequent it back then. Moved to the American SW in 2006. I moved back in winter 2020. I get Gus’s usually once a week, sometimes 3 times a week… between the Chicago Dogs, the Gyros, and cheeseburgers I am set every day of the week. Gus is usually there and there is always a friendly face! The food is outstanding. I usually order online and it’s ready on time every time."
"Very cool place to go. We where in town for vacation and seen this place. Was a Saturday night. They have car shows every Saturday. Food was pretty good, drive in type burgers, dogs, chicken fingers, ect. Price wasn't too bad and service was pretty good for the big crowd they had. I would recommend checking it out."
