"Great atmosphere. We were greeted and seated immediately. Polite and courteous staff. Very clean. With that said the food totally sucked!!!! We went for the fish fry. Cod was dry as the dessert & as salty as the sea. I grew up eating potato pancakes. What they served was NOT a traditional potato pancake. Their version was like a literally pancake made from pancake batter with a bit of shredded potato. My lemonade tasted almost like straight lemon juice with a hint of sweet. Two thumbs down"
"One of the best gems the city of Milwaukee has to offer; if you’ve not yet visited On The Clock then you are absolutely missing out! The building is well over 100 years old but the current owners have made it their business home for the past 45 and you’re going to be hard pressed to find the culture, atmosphere, and culinary expertise that this establishment produces anywhere else in the city. If old world charm, family, fun, and good food are something you enjoy, please do yourself a favor and come down here for just a drink or stay the whole evening, you won’t regret it!! Cheers! "Absolutely fantastic food and drink, so much of the menu is made in house and it shows. The classic Mac and cheese is creamy and topped with crunchy potato chip crumbles. The wings are hot and spicy and they have plenty of sauce options. The drinks are strong and well priced. Definitely a must visit when I'm in town"
"My husband and I visited Thursday night, which happened to be bingo night(after 7pm). We generally had a great time, and that's the first time we ever did bingo. Our server was very sweet, and often checked with us. Margaritas and Food tasted great. Clean establishment. Prices were reasonable. The staff and atmosphere was very friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back 10/10. Thank you!"
