"We went for cold sandwiches. A LOT of mayo/sauce and disappointed with the cramped atmosphere on the inside with shelves full of overpriced products. My mom wanted cheddar cheese on her sandwich instead and the worker at the counter said cheddar cheese already came on the sandwich she wanted. (The cold hero). Confused because the only thing I saw that had cheddar was the veggie. But a minor inconvenience, maybe the worker was new or heard her wrong."

"Sadly, today will most likely be the last time I choose ECCD. Quality has gone from okay to not okay, over the last few months. When a person is dropping $10.50 for a sandwich and $5/cup of soup, it should not be sloppily put together with the ingredients on one end and bare bread in the other, nor should the soup be cold or just broth.(Had a cold hero. Was sharing with my husband.) So, that was a little irritating. And because it took almost twenty minutes to get said sloppy mess of a hero, we had no time to eat together so I just split the sandwich and we parted ways. I basically had a bread sandwich to go with my cold soup as I didn't think I would or should have to rearrange the toppings so it was an even spread. Lesson learned. I feel even worse for the girls that called in their order ahead of time so they could pick up their lunch and enjoy their break. They requested an 1145 pick up. I left ECCD at 1215 and they had left just ahead of me. I get it, you've gained popularity due to the hype from various Facebook "foodie" groups. But please, if it's busy, take your time and give a quality product and don't be afraid to say "hey, it's crazy busy. Might be a little wait". Honestly bummed. In all my years of working in food service, the preach was that the food should be the same for every customer, every time. Consistency is key!"

"I highly recommend stopping in for a sandwich! We love the Spicy Claire and are always blown away by the vast selection of cheese. The shop is small, but the wide selection of goodies is impressive. Aged cheddar cheese connoisseurs should definitely stop in the peruse the options."

"Small little cheese shop. We didn’t try any sandwiches but we did try ice cream for the boys treats. The ice cream selection were good. We got some cheese to go for gifts."

"Nice selection of cheeses and charcuterie sides for such a small store. Where it really shines is the food; I had the Eau Claire Special sandwich and a cup of Mushroom Brie soup, absolutely outstanding. The Sausage and Kale soup is also one of the best soups I have ever had. If I ever come through Wisconsin again, I will be sure to stop."
