Grizzly's Wood-Fired Grill

"Husband and I went out for a date night and hadn't been to Grizzlys in a long time so decided we'd try it. NOPE never again will we eat here. We had the Platter for 2... ribs, chicken, and we asked for the brisket for the 3rd choice. The chicken was mushy when eating it. The ribs were tough and tasted like they were broiled instead of smoked. On to the brisket IT WAS NOT BRISKET. We asked our waitress if the cook gave us pulled pork instead of the brisket so she took it back and asked. She came back out and said it was brisket. Now my husband does a lot of smoking during the summer so we know what brisket is and it was not brisket. So disappointing for a place that is considered a BBQ joint. As far as the cornbread it wasn't horrible but the honey butter was mixed together and was very gritty."

"What can I say?? The food was NOT worth the price. I ordered a chicken pasta dish see photo. I found bones in my pasta. It turned me off after the second bite of food. The bread stick was good. The second item were the ribs. Tough. They were NOT fall off the bone. No far from it. The fish tacos were not great either. Left one whole taco untouched, never ate it. The shrimp tacos on the other had my husband said we're very good. Let's talk about my drink. I ordered an amaretto sour. I have no idea what they brought me. NO IDEA. The sour in an Amaretto sour is the soda. Not even sure if the drink had Amaretto in it?? See photo. Everyone else in our party of 4 had beer and soda. Kind of hard to mess that up. Getting back to the Amaretto sour. I have never tasted anything like that before. So very sour. It made your cheeks hurt. The pucker on that drink was a big hit at the table. Every time I took a sip the laughs could be heard all over our section. I had to order a glass of water just to wash down the sour taste. I have no idea what they charged for that drink. I did not see the bill for this particular restaurant, as my husband paid, and I did not ask to see the bill. But just don't order an Amaretto sour. The atmosphere here was great. The staff was friendly. We have never visited a bar that when you order a drink they come back to you with change, and the change is pennies. Most, no all the bars we go to in Green Bay have never bought us pennies in our change back for drinks at the bar. Food orders yes. Drink orders, never. A least not a bar I have gone to. Not that this is a bad thing. Just thought it was weird and made note of it. We will not be going back to Grizzly's."

"Food was good but nothing exceptional. Service was good as well. No gluten free menu but you can ask about things. The server was somewhat knowledgeable but mostly asked someone else. They do have gluten free buns. It was a nice dinner."

"We came by about 7:30 on a Saturday. There were just two of us. We had about a 15 minute wait before being taken to a table. It was immediately clear that the wait wasn't for a lack of empty tables, but a lack of staffing. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful, but they were stretched so thin. We had a long wait to place orders, and for my husband to get his beer (it turned out they'd run out of his first request, but we didn't know for 15 minutes until we inquired), and for our food to arrive. The food was fine, too. We'd come here as part of the Curd Crawl, and Grizzly's has gigantic cheese curds. Really, they were almost too thick! They take several bites to eat. We'd also ordered small salads to balance with the cheese. I hope they get the staffing issues fixed, as it was apparent that the people there were doing everything they could."

"It's been many years since I've been here. The food is just as great as I remember. The atmosphere is very cozy. I recommend the grizzly skins. The seasoned sour cream that they serve with the skins really is what makes the dish. This time I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had. I loved the addition of the fried pickle on the sandwich. Our server was great as well. I highly recommend this place."
