The Goddard School of Folsom

"Folsom Goddard feels like family. I’ve been lucky enough to have all 3 of my boys attend and the teachers and staff are amazing. They always have a monthly calendar that has themed weeks and dress up days (which the boys love). I have no idea how the directors and management team do it, but they develop a relationship with every child there to the point where they can tell my identical twin boys apart and know their interests, likes and dislikes. They also go all out on school events: trunk or treat, winter concert (for the upper classes) and the pancake breakfast with Santa just to name a few. These events have helped my boys make memories with their Goddard friends that will last a lifetime. The teachers are also amazing! They excel at building nurturing relationships and getting to know their students. The amount of care and patience they have is amazing and has helped make my boys feel comfortable in each of their classes. Also, Folsom Goddard is top notch in providing the education building blocks my boys will need to succeed in grammar school and beyond. My oldest (now in 1st grade) graduated from the school with the knowledge base he needed to excel in his public kinder class, which we are very grateful for. My 4 yo twins know all their shapes (yes, even the weird ones like trapezoids), letters, how to write their names, and all the letters of the alphabet. They love spelling things out and then having me say the word. They came home the other evening so excited to tell me that Pluto isn’t a planet, but a dwarf planet and then named off all five dwarf planets! I think that they will blow their kindergarten teacher’s socks off in Fall of 2024! We are so grateful to all that Folsom Goddard has done for us and our boys!"

"Goddard is very engaged with our daughter. Transitioning into daycare is never easy and they assisted us with this transition for us and for our daughter. They have a great schedule with different activities and themed days to make the school days fun! The teachers are great and attentive. The owner is also very engaged with all the families and her business! Sometimes it feels las if my daughter is their only priority when I know they do this for all the children, but it seems as if my child is the only one in their care! Very pleased thus far."

"We’ve only been at Goddard for about two months but so far it has been going really well! We’ve left three other daycares in the area and felt like we would never find the right one for us. Something we love is how calm, clean, and organized it feels. I love the separation of the classrooms and the adorable sea life names. I feel like my kids are safe when I drop off. The entry way is super secure and requires multiple steps to enter the building. The teachers acknowledge us when we enter and I feel like my child will remain in that classroom after I leave (felt unsafe in the chaos at a previous daycare and worried about my child trying to follow me out, unnoticed). The teachers are caring and the front staff is very responsive by text!!! It’s hard to wait until the end of the day, but the daily reports are extremely thorough. You get it as soon as you pick up. The staff are also super educated and it shows. They have the perfect amount of “control” over the kids! The curriculum is age appropriate and adorable. We struggled with lack of professionalism at multiple other daycares and lack of experience/control at one also. Overall I am excited to see where this takes us. Hoping our little one stays for years!"
