"Walked into Izzy’s lastnight and was blown away by the Philly Cheesesteak. It was big, soft and JUICY! (and I’m NOT talking about the cook!). The joint is sweet! Bartender was very nice/sociable. The drinks were priced right!!! Music was on point all night. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to hang."

"Use to feel like a family bar. I use to run and do get things for my ex husband why he was working and some of the bartenders and my now boyfriend when they needed stuff for the bar and couldn't leave. I could stop in spend my money and peak in the kitchen and tell my ex husband or boyfriend I was there and izzy was fine with it. He always made me feel like family but his new wife has let things go over her head! I had problems in the past with a certain bartender and would not go in why she was working but put that behind and started going in again. Well tonight if I would not of went up and asked for menu I would not of even got one I would of just sat at the table waiting it was once again that bartender. She knows eveytime I have been in when I been in I have paid with my own money so I should be treated like a regular customer if not of course I am going to my man to tell him! Now with the way I was treated by Izzys wife tonight I once again will be spending my money sadly elsewhere why Two people are there. Oh and by the way I ended up not ordering anything and just leaving!"

"What a great little surprise! The food couldn’t be better, the price is more than fair, the service is excellent and the folks in and out there are varied and friendly. Definitely a place I will go back to. Really great experience!"

"Brisket was very good and my wife's cheeseburger was also good. Hand cut fries were dry so thinking a bit overcooked. Bartender was doing double duty waiting tables and was doing her best to keep up during a busy dinner hour. Looked like quite a few locals coming in for drinks and/or takeout. Would like to come back and sample other menu items like ribs, catfish, fish fry."

"Decent bar and food. The onion rings and cheese curds were the star of the show. Which I wasnt expecting. The meat didn't taste smoked at all, but was decent. The brisket was different than any I've ever had. Not sure how they do it, but it's unique. A lot of char on the outside, but it's not dry. It was a little difficult to eat, but wasnt too bad. The ribs were super tender, but missing that smoked/grilled flavor I thought. Girlfriend ordered the catfish dinner, and got a brisket sandwich, which made me leave a 3 star review rather than a 4 star, accidents happen and the brisket sandwich was good enough for her to eat without making a ruckus of it..had the wait not been so long (30-40 minutes with a basically empty restaurant/bar), we would have asked them to fix it and probably would have given 4 stars."
