"Was trying to find a new Peruvian food spot near me instead of going all the way to North Hollywood for a place that is always guaranteed to be good with nice service. I gave this place a chance, and like most of the lowest reviews mentioned, The service is not very warm, or welcoming by that one moody young lady at the front. It was very much fake polite and rushed feeling. As others stated as well, the food took quite a while to get ready, compared to other restaurants. It was edible, but it was very salty, and the potatoes given on side was very dry and a waste of calories to even eat that. Overall, it was decent enough if you’re hungry enough, but I will not give those people my money ever again, they are way too expensive for below mediocrity in service and food. May want to get new staff if you want to save your restaurant, especially a quicker cook and the person that takes your order for pick up, she wasn’t rude but her energy is not very pleasant to the point it is uncomfortable to even want to communicate with her. I advise y’all to find somewhere else if u care about these issues."

"Host/server was very friendly and very nice, considering the place was packed and she was the only one working the tables. I always get the Lomo Saltado but tonight I wanted to try something new... alas, they were out. I'll try again next time. Small place but great food. Empanada was flaky and spicy more like a croissant than pie crust. The Arroz con Pollo has a goodly amount of cilantro. The Pescado Al Ajo was not fishy or too garlicky. Kinda sweet and smooth garlic taste almost an Asian quality to it. Lomo Saltado is great as usual. You don't need the rice in this dish but it's a nice way to get all the gravy/broth. Parking is adequate. There is some outdoor dining area that takes up some of the parking spaces. The booth I was in had a bench with very torn vinyl that needs repair. TIP: 1) Saturday and Sunday they have a combo brunch for $11.99 (01/8/2022). 2) M-F Lunch specials (vary) ($10.99) 3) There is a rewards program with 25 points on startup. Might be worth your first visit to try some Peruvian food."
