"This was a wonderful preschool for my daughter. We started a little before she turned 3. I love that Ms. Karen has so much nature involved in their every day activities. She really teaches that you can find nature and life in every corner, and makes learning so much fun with open-ended creative play and imagination. Her Reggio Emilia inspired approach to teaching was everything I was looking for in a preschool. She helped my daughter build confidence with tasks that she can do on her own like putting on her own shoes and jacket. Ms. Karen provided very healthy snacks and cooked lunches, which she allowed the kids to get involved as well - a family style meal that encouraged my daughter to ask for family dinners at the table at home! She always had a big smile on her face when I picked her up with stories of what happened during school. It was a loving and nurturing environment for her. I highly recommend this preschool."

"Karen is the best and I could not have asked for a better teacher for our 2 year old son. Within a couple of weeks of being there, he has grown so much. I love and appreciate the amount of attention and support he gets, which you can't find at a typical day care center. I really love her philosophy on teaching and encouraging play outdoors. If you are looking for a fabulous at home daycare, this is it!"

"We are so thankful to have found Creative Journeys Preschool! My daughter started attending CJP at 2.5 years old and now my son attends as well. Throughout the years of multiple schools, this is the most amazing school we have found. I can see my son thriving! We love that Karen provides a comfortable, homey feel, but has also created such an amazing learning environment for her kids! It has allowed both of my children to grow and learn in a loving atmosphere. She takes the kids out everyday for playground exploration and nature walks through the neighborhood. Karen is amazing at validating each child's learning process, fosters pride and satisfaction in their creative artwork, and encourages endless amounts of exploration. The kids have easy access to supplies and learning material, and are consistently inspired and encouraged to direct their own learning. Ms. Karen is always so great at guiding them through their own interests, thoughts, and observations. We love that the learning is flexible, open-ended, and always hands-on! She is always open to discussion and somehow makes everything a fun learning lesson! We are so thankful to have found Creative Journeys Preschool!"

"My two children love Creative Journeys! Ms. Karen helped my socially anxious child feel at ease and comfortable around her peers. My daughter has definitely blossomed and Ms. Karen has had such a positive impact on her social emotional development. My son is physically SUPER active and really enjoys the daily outdoor excursions. He even comes home with different crafts and other creative outlets that he channels his energy into. This wouldn't happen at home, he wouldn't have the patience to sit and do crafts with me. Ms. Karen is our child whisperer!"
