"$17 for 3xTecate + coconut water comes out to nearly $4/can of Tecate before taxes although the tag advertised 99c per can. Thanks for the free plastic bag tho. Tall boys shouldn’t be more than $2.75/can, 3pk at $7.50 at most. Beer was warm, fix your fridges"

"It’s okay. They are open late but it’s best you get your beer/liquor across the street early, every liquor store in Berkeley/Albany is taxing I cannot say what place is the best because then it will raise prices all I can say is look for Berkeley bordering Oakland liquors."

"I'm not quite sure why I prefer Max's to other liquor stores. It's in Albany, my stomping grounds, and I'd much rather support a small business than the very large chain liquor store across the street. It's hard to say that the staff are friendly, because turnover seems surprisingly high. But I appreciate that their girlie magazines aren't as obvious as at some other stores. It's my favorite place to buy lottery tickets. Again, I can't put my finger on it, but it's my favorite."
