"Approximately 2-1/2 years ago I had an MRI which revealed two herniated disks, L4 & L5. It was recommended that I receive shots in both sides of my back to help with the sciatica pain. I was also prescribed and was taking 600mg of Gabapentin & 800mg of Ibuprofen 3 times a day to just get through pain. I also was seeing a chiropractor for treatment which had helped me in my past. But after a few months, I still had pain, but it was mostly muscle pain that was pinching on the sciatica nerve. My chiropractor suggested that I see Deana for a massage therapy session to see it this could help loosen up these muscles in my back. Deana & I discussed the problems I was having & came up with a treatment plan. I began seeing Deana for weekly massage therapy sessions in August of 2021. These sessions helped me immensely. Now, please understand, this didn't happen overnight, but every week, from the very first week, I could feel progress. Immediately in my quality of sleep, I went from a rating in the low 60's to the mid 80's on my Fitbit the night right after a session since my back muscles were relaxed. I can also happily report that I have not had to receive anymore spinal shots since beginning my sessions with Deana. I have also been able to stop taking the 800mg Ibuprofen & Gabapentin daily since we have relived 95% of the pain I was suffering. Deana has helped me so much & given me the ability to stop taking these prescriptions. And as corny as this sounds, Deana was able to get me off the floor & back to engaging in & enjoying life. So I Highly recommend Deana just as long as you don't steal my appointment time slot."
