The trails are well-marked, making it easy to navigate and explore the park. Along the way, I was treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. the park had plenty of parking, which made it easy to access. Overall, I would highly recommend Rancho Sierra Vista to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to hike and explore. "Update: Such variety, and if you're interested in native plants, a chance to see them full grown or in their different shapes throughout the season. If you plant them in your yard, you have the chance to take care of them all year round, keeping them more attractive, not dried out like they are in the wild. Excellent walking trails, especially in winter. I didn't know about this place, just the Wendy Trail, but there are loads of California native plants and many birds. Just gorgeous. Get a plant app to find out what species. I found loads of coyote bushes in various blooming stages. Also toyon, popular food source for wildlife."
"Beautiful hidden spot in southern California. I've lived in Ventura county my whole life and didn't know it was here until I was 24. Boney Peak and the trails to it were considered a spiritual journey to the indigenous Chumash People, often taken by shamans. (Read the sign!) Highly recommend, and there's a hike to some waterfalls."
