"A great place for a hike. Flat and gentle routes as well as some seriously steep and challenging routes to the top which are not for the feint hearted"

"Free parking, lots of trail variations. The climb up to the panorama just past Snively's ridge is worth the elevation gain! Excellent park for a few hours of hiking, beautiful when it's misting, foggy, overcast or clear and sunny. Trailheads are all generally well marked, download the trail map and you'll be set."

"This is one of the best off leash hiking areas I've been too. We just did a short one hour hike and had lunch at their picnic bench area. Our dog loved jumping in the river and even a pond/swamp she found too. There were a lot of little kids there which makes me a little nervous because we have a high energy German Shepherd but no one seemed to mind. The hike is pretty steep but it had some nice views."
