"The sauna is always broken, they lie about fees, it's going downhill fast from when brand new. Not clean anymore. The old managers were great, on the ball, kept their words, place was clean. Now its destroyed, I'm canceling my contract."

"So the rumor on this gym is the owner of it doesnt wanna put money into the gym for equipment or anything else of that matter, it use to be a good gym nd still has the potential of one but the lack of effort to maintain shows, do not get a membership here"

"Gym crunch in Norwalk is one of the nastiest gyms I’ve ever seen in my entire life the staff at leave the gym unattended to go smoke in front of the gym like if it was their house, I try putting in a complaint and the manager right now told me that she can submit a complaint against her coworkers and then most likely when they were smoking was most likely when they were on their own time meaning if they were on break, they could smoke outside in the front weed , and they leave to the gas station across the street to go by food and leave the front unattended leaving the front exposed to anybody that could be dangerous, on top of it all the machines are broken for the majority. If you go into the boxing room, there’s only one punching bag they took everything out. And as you’re walking up to go into the dressing rooms, you see that big O space that is free back then there was nothing but machines on that gap. And they slack on restocking, the restrooms showers, and even when the soap so you can wash your hands. And in the raining season, the whole roof is falling in the men’s restroom. It sucks that I have paid for a whole year so I had to get stuck with the same gym but now I got off the hook but I promise you will regret going to that gym"

"I came here for a year, lost 20 pounds and decided to cancel and go to a private gym that's less crowded. I came in and cancelled on the seventh of December, long before the payment would've came out of my bank account. Well the 23rd came by and I was charged. I walked in to try to talk to a manager but it was 4:50 and the manager was gone. When I called the Cerritos location they couldn't help me much but said it looked like I had two memberships. I checked my bank statements and was only charged once a month this past year but still confused as to why I was deducted when the closing contract had a balance of 0$ . Pretty sketchy and another reason why I'm glad I cancelled. Since tomorrow is Christmas Eve I'll have to wait until Tuesday to figure this out but with money being so tight this really put me in a bad position right before Christmas. None of the equipment ever worked. There was always 5 treadmills out of 20 that worked. I think they finally took half out but even with the treadmills gone the problem of lack of cardio equipment isn't solved. They have a ton of ellipticals that are broken, if they removed the ones that don't work they'd be left with nothing. They allow you to take two guest so you have a ton of people hogging space. It's dirty and dusty, the ac never worked in the summer. The sauna always smelled like urinal deodorizer which I would throw out if I found because they made it hard to breath. There was never any parking because college students would park there during class times and nobody ever told them anything. Plus there was always homeless people who live in vans which is scary if you're a female and have to park by them because there's no other spaces but the ones along the brick wall in the back. My nephew told me he wanted to get a membership here I told him to spend him money elsewhere. I've never had a negative experience with cancelling with 24 hours fitness or la fitness. Contracts to these little cheap gyms are not that great and it seems they know how to hustle you. It could be that I should've read the contract better but I thought because I was on a month to month plan id be cool. I was told my membership was cancelled but if they charged me for the last month they could've atleast had the decency to tell me that I could work out until January 23rd. If you're looking for a gym to join just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The management here doesnt care about their clients. They're too busy trying to get new members that meeting the needs of the existing paying members doesn't even concern them."

"Honestly the lack of maintenance to the gym is ridiculous. Consistent broken equipment. 2 of the 6 treadmills broken for over 6 months. Today in the sauna someone added some kind of substance to the heater that was irritating to the eyes and made it difficult to breathe. Tried to look for a gym associate and no where to be seen or found I looked and waited at front desk for a minute. This gym definitely needs a little more TLC. From corporate not the employee’s"
