"Nice, relaxing place. Shade is plentiful and accessible. Didn't run into any doggie landmines. We didn't use the bball courts (though there were a few games going) But they appeared in good repair and same for the playground. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because half of the park is closed off. We didn't need the extra space, but it was disconcerting to see half of a public park made off-limits to, well...the public. I'm sure there's a reason, but seems like there are some mystical keeper of the keys who decides who, from the public, is worthy enough to go there. Parks should be opened to the public, not reserved for specific special events or special access."
