Motel 6 Fremont, CA - South

"The fact that I don't have a Microwave or Refrigerator is a problem. But what's really annoying me is the smell of mildew in this particular room. It's awful. My daughter didn't want to be a nuisance, so she didn't want to ask for another room. She used to work as a hotel manager so she tries to be overly kind to hotel staff. But if it was up to me I would've moved us to another room from the second I stepped in the room. Gotta get what we paid for. We not staying here for free. It's raining outside. It's a stale smell and I'm sure the smell will be on our items when we leave here. I hate to have to take it with me when I go. It's bad. Outside of that my experience is ok. Not kid friendly though. We have a 5 year old with us. We have a shower but no bath tub. So there's that. But it's motel 6 not the four seasons. We are traveling. Our last hotel was the Four Points Sheraton in Pleasanton. I could just be subconsciously comparing it to that."

"I stayed here for 2 days payed $200.00, i honestly didn’t like that it didn’t have no microwave or refrigerator specially because I have a 15 month old baby and she didn’t her milk and I can’t heat up her food and othe is that there no store close by. Staff of house keeping there wonderful very friendly hopefully in the future it gets to change .."

"I’ve stayed here numerous times. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My complaint is that the television channel guide doesn’t correspond with the actual channels on the “Channel Guide” For instance, today is Saturday 12/23 and channel 6 says Sunday Night Football. Today is Saturday. The channels are from, more or less, 44-1 to 48-9. This doesn’t match up at all. I’ve brought this up to the front desk several times. They send their maintenance guy and all he does is flip through a few channels on the remote and says “Well, there’s no signal.” Nothing he can do. This issue is obviously beyond his capabilities. I recommended, to the front desk, that they contact Dish Network to troubleshoot and resolve this issue since they are the ones providing this service.This has been an ongoing issue and I hope it’s resolved soon. Addition: Today is 1/13 and the television is still jacked up. A lady at the front desk told me she read my original review and that she had called Dish Network to resolve the issue but that appears to not be true as the television channels are still not working. All I get is pixelation."

"There was mold in the shower on the ceiling, no microwave and no access to a community microwave which makes no sense people staying away from home need a way to heat up food. First room smelt so bad like cigarette smoke I had to actually request a room switch I couldn't stand the smell but the next room was hardly any better. Doors have a huge gap so it doesn't feel secure at all. If I could avoid it next time I will. Only stayed here because I live out of town and work near by. Also vending machines are a rip off they wanted 3$ for a basic small bottle of water.."
