"WORST TAMALES i’ve had! I had recently read all the reviews and was in the area so I was excited to try the tamales everyone said were so good. I did order the tamales to go so they were cold which I think is where the problem started. I’m not sure if I was given old tamales or what but when I opened them they were very loosely wrapped with the husks and they were VERY hard to the touch. Even after heating them up more then I should’ve had to I could only get through two bites before I was done with them. I offered them to my mother who never lets anything go to waste and she even passed cause of how bad they were. Honestly those tamales should’ve never been served to anyone maybe their hot tamales are better but after throwing $10 in the trash i’m not willing to take another chance on their food."

"Nice small fruit and nut store, freshly made chicken tamales were awesome, very friendly staff, clean and clean atmosphere! They have outdoor seating which is fantastic! I can enjoy the tamales with my fur baby. Fresh watermelon is kind of small cup but it was sweet and refreshing!"

"Since COVID I have been trying to support more local businesses that are family owned. Cooperations rule the world so I’d rather support places like this! They are family owned and operated! They have some the the best tamales around! Fresh produce options, and omg the ice cream is SOOO GOOD! I always stop here for pistachios on my way back to Sacramento. They have the best selection of nuts and so many flavors. The tamales sell out fast so usally around 3 or 4pm they are out on the weekdays. I got lucky on a Sunday and got me some! They have chicken, pork and jalapeño and cheese tamales, 3 for 8$ and there a decent size!! Love this place and will always keep coming back. SUPPORT THE LOCAL BUSINESS YALL"

"What a tremendous place. I left there buying so much stuff. I got their watermelon juice. I got their flavored pistachios. When I got there it was 9 AM so I went to the breakfast tamales. So delicious. That laughing squirrel image is stuck in my head."
