"Not sure how people are saying this is one of the nicest Marriott hotels. I am platinum elite with Marriott and I won’t be staying here again unfortunately. Room heat/ac didn’t work, couldn’t open the windows, water in bathroom ran a legit brown color, lighting in bedroom was awful, room overlooked freeway, weird gym, place is just generally very old and in need of updating. Lounge was pretty solid/standard for Marriott. About a 20 minute walk to downtown Walnut Creek, walked it the first day but ubered after. Marriott doesn’t seem to have great options in this general area, probably better off booking outside of Marriott properties if staying in the Walnut Creek area."
"Nice & clean convenient hotel. Hotel is a little older but looks like rooms have been updated. Rooms have poor ventilation and windows aren't the best. Staff were nice and overall experience was good."
"Everyone here is friendly and ready to help if needed. Valet is the only option for parking. They are fast and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the pillow(s). Absolutely the worst I have had to use in quite some time."
"Enjoyed my stay at the Walnut Creek Marriott. Attended a nearby industry meeting and had the pleasure of staying at the establishment, using the valet, eating at the restaurant, and drinking from the bar. The staff were very gracious and service was spectacular. Rooms are satisfyingly peaceful and accessibly convenient to the area."
"Been here multiple times over the last few years and this is one of my favorite Marriotts. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel and valet staff are friendly. If you’re a Platinum+ member, they have a lounge with free breakfast and snacks 10am-10pm. Super helpful if you’re here on business and need that afternoon cup of coffee and some finger snacks. Highly recommend!"
