"Don't waste your time working with this company. They don't have their act together. I can buy amazon visa gift cards at $50 with fee of $4.95. Blackhawk only saves you .25 cents. Had run around for 5 hours today just trying to do an order. When told I needed a supervisor to call back I was told that won't happen. So, employees seem to say, do whatever they want with no repercussion. (would give no stars if I could)"

"Ken Green went above and beyond to make sure we recieved the gift cards by the date I needed them. I had put the order in late, but he made it happen still. I had a large order of bulk gift cards for our team, and it was an easy process to get it done. I love that I can upload one spreadsheet for the order and also download all the tracking numbers on one sheet. It makes it a lot easier to manage when ordering for many different people. On a previous order I also had an issue with one delivery (due to the shipping company not blackhawk) and Ken made sure we got it fixed. It's amazing to have a contact person and not just a customer service number."

"I purchased a prepaid Credit card early last year from Shoppers Drug Mart. I put it away and just remembered about it up 3 days ago. When I realized that I had it, I opened it and tried to use it. It didn't work. I called in to check the balance, and it was zero, which was weird becasue I verified the payment through my banking history. I logged on to the Blackhawk Network website to see that charges had been made to a company in China in March. I've never used this card before. I thought it must be a mistake and quickly registered the card to see if that would make a difference. It didn't. I called the 1-800 number and spoke to an individual who told me their policy was that it had to be reported within 60 days. I asked for this to be elevated becasue I had never used the card. In 48 hours, I received the same response. I cannot accept that I'm out $500 because of what I suspect is internal fraud at the Blackhawk Network 10.11.23 Now Blackhawk wants me to contact them with details (again). Sorry but no, I've spent enough time getting the runaround and my claim has been rejected based on your timeline of 60 days. Sorry, but fraud/ theft has to be addressed past that. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I'd recommend Blackhawk respond to my complaint and work on resolving it that way so theres a record of communications and (hopefully) a resolve with them."

"0 stars, my gift card had a measly 39.50 dollars left and wouldn’t you know like everybody else it got hacked. I called the number on the back of my card, the staff were pretty nice I’ll give them that but their service time is terrible. At first they sent me an email that everything was going to be fine and that they will send a new gift card to me in the mail within 7 to 10 business days, but later on they sent another email for me to send the front and back of my card, my purchase receipt or my phone bill in order to “Validate my name and address” we’re talking about a gift card now and their asking for all kinds of information. And then they say I need to wait 7-10 days just for them to review the “Documentation” and an additional 10 days for them to send the card."

"Do not buy their cards! Customer service is a joke. I won a visa gift card and even though it says I have a balance on the card, it will not work. I called several numbers and got transferred around until I got a person. He claimed that he registered the card and I could use it. It's still not working. This company wants you to give up on the hassle."
