"My boyfriend and I went here the other day for a late Valentine's dinner. We both have been wanting to try this place since we heard they were opening a location in Folsom. The last time we had Rakkan Ramen was a year back at the LA location, which the waiting line over there was incredibly long. We were a bit worry because we got to the place 30 minutes before their closing time but they were still very welcoming. The interior of the restaurant was clean and modern looking. It had a nice vibe to it. We ordered the amber and spicy quartz combination with chicken karaage and gyoza. The broth for the ramen was very good and flavorful as expected. The noodles are the thin type which is my boyfriend's favorite. The chicken karaage and gyoza were also good. They only had one cocktail which was a yuzu cocktail and it was really good. I prefer sweet type of cocktails and this one hit the spot. The appearance is quite plain for the drink but the drink was delicious. The service was also very good. Our server was very attentive and refilled my boyfriend's glass of water a few times. This would be my other favorite spot for ramen aside from Fukumi in the Sacramento area. Just a heads up, the location is a bit hidden by a pillar when driving through the lot. Another thing to note is that this place offers vegan options and their broth is vegan as well."

"We visited here for lunch on Saturday and were seated immediately. - Kids ramen (garnet) with chicken karaage: perfect portion for kid. The broth was good and the noodle was perfectly cooked. The karaage was good but they were just 2 little pieces. - Spicy garnet (miso): the broth was rich but not too greasy and it was flavorful. The charred chasu pieces were tender, flavorful - simply delicious! The noodle was thin firm noodle and cooked perfectly. I requested extra garlic and it was perfect. - Spicy tuna bowl: good and flavorful tuna. The rice was succulent and perfectly cooked. I wish the portion was a bit bigger. - Chicken karaage (small): the karrage was crispy and the meat was tender but the portion was quite small. Overall, a good decent ramen place that we would come back if we’re in the area."

"Little bit richer broth than I'm used to...but delicious bowls of ramen and sure anyone who appreciates ramen would be happy ordering here. Never visited the franchise in Japan (guess it's more of a Kanto chain) but pretty legit food- wouldn't recommend the fried gyoza though...Overall, good food, great staff and clean restaurant."

"The Spicy Quartz ramen is definitely worth a try for the spice fans, along with the Spicy Tuna Bowl & Karaage, which were both delicious. I went with my Japanese coworkers, who I let be the judge of whether this place serves "authentic" shoyu ramen, both had their own opinions. Nonetheless, a respectable new ramen restaurant has joined the Folsom community."
