"If your in Oakland or outlying area, this is the go to place for choice selection of meat. Home of the (soon to be) world famous "Moo Pig" ground meat, Oakland Meat Market has a selection of fresh cut meats and excellent prices on freezer packed meats. Today was my first experience with "Moo Pig" which has the consistency of lean ground beef. The hamburgers I made with it grilled beautifully with very minimal flare up. Despite being a lean meat, the burgers were very juicy and abounded with the flavor of bacon. When you stop in for a great deal on ribs, steaks or chicken, don't forget pick up a pound or two.
