"A beautiful place to hike. We love going there early in the A.M., to walk our dogs and to enjoy the solitude."

"Visited this morning to run the only parkrun in California. The trails are clean and well-maintained, there are lots of waterfowl and some birds of prey. It does smell a bit because because it is next to the sewage plant. Nice place for a walk or run. Dogs need to go on leashes."

"As a runner, this park is perfect for any kind of training. If you are going for an easy run, stay on the outer perimeter. It is mostly flat, but it doesn't go in a full loop; it will be an out and back. If you want to throw in some hill repeats, head to the middle of the park - it's not as steep and atraight-ahead like seal point park in foster city, but it can challenge you. The views from this place is also wonderful - you get views of the wetlands, the bay, the local airport, and of Palo Alto/Mountain View. Gorgeous! And the day I went, the weather was perfect - low 70s with just a little wind. Keep in mind that this place can probably get a bit windy in the mid to late afternoon."

The park is also home to a number of wildlife species, so be sure to bring a camera and keep your eyes peeled for some of the amazing creatures that call this place home. The park is well-equipped for visitors, with picnic areas, restrooms. There are also several picnic areas dotted along the trails, so you can stop for a rest and take in the views."

"This a great place in the Palo Alto bay area for a scenic walk around the bay. There are many options to vary your path on each visit and most of the trails are dog friendly! The plethora of birds created an amazing ambiance that made you want to just sit and relax. I would highly recommend bringing bug spray due to the water providing quite a bit of mosquitoes."
